Highlighting and valuing the work of nurses and other healthcare workers continues from 2020 into 2021 – the World Health Organization designated International Year of the Health and Care Workers (YHCW). Under the theme Protect, Invest, Together, the YHCW campaign highlights the urgent need to invest in health workers for shared dividends in health, jobs, economic opportunity and equity.

The International Council of Nurses continues to serve the nursing community through this online platform as a way to bring the nursing community together during this unprecedented pandemic in modern times by sharing stories, information and knowledge gathered by ICN and by you, our member associations.
